night's gettin' longer
I'm putting new tie rod ends (among other things) in my '00 1.8TQ. It seems to be a really easy job, with the exception that I can't get the bolt that goes thru the indent on the tie rod end and the upper control arm out! Appears to me to be rusted in place pretty darn good. I've tried raising, lowering the jack (holding the hub in a relatively 'normal' position even though the car's on jack stands) and spraying the crap outa it with WD40 trying to break what I suspect is a rust-hold on the bolt.
Any suggestions? It's getting later and I'm getting nowhere. I could really use a great idea from someone.
Thanks!

got one ... working on the other side. now the problem is i can't break loose the tie rod end from the nut (at the tie rod boot). it's just all locked up and i can't hit that one with an impact wrench. any suggestions there?
