How much nitrous can you safely put on the 1.8T?

There's a reason you rarely see audi and nitrous... its because it is not really considered healthy for our car. I know of one guy who totally fried his internals. People have used it successfully in the past, however.

I assume you are running a 1.8t engine. FMIC will help. Any ideas on what turbo you plan to use?

I have no idea what kind of turbo to use. This is my first turbo car and I really don't know anything about them.

I would not be fooling with nitrous then. Its not really practical to use it on our car anyway. You're better off using the money to chip the car to have better power all the time. a $400 chip will give you 50 hp.

There have been a few S4's I know that have done wet systems with some luck, but the fine tuning is a real headache for them. Furthermore, they had major custom work done to the engine - the incorporated NOS created further hassles to the air/fuel management. To quote one of the owners, "It's not that you can't get more power from the system, it's how to manage it."

oh yeah, it can be done, but it takes a lot of technical knowledge to do it right. And you don't just bolt that stuff on to a 1.8t. I agree, it just too much of a hassle for the benefits it gives you.
