Question b6 s4 nitrous kit

hey everyone, i'm new today. i got my b6 s4 about 9 months ago. I've done most of the small stuff, intake, exhaust, intake manifold spacer, dropped, rims, system. I need to make it faster and wanted to hear any suggestions. ive looked into the ECU flashes but they dont seem to do much. Supercharger is out of my league. But a nitrous set up looks interesting...thinking something small 50-75 shot. any comments/experience? is it possible to do without removing the cats?

Nice ride. Are you trying to go for a wet or dry nitro system?

Default b6 nitrous

definately a wet shot, much nicer on the motor. im interested to know how people get around the melting cats issue. i cant imagine every car ever to have nitrous had to remove the cats? i hope... btw props to u for pullin ur car apart so much. i would love to do that with mine, change some stuff under the front clip and maybe the HJMotorsports clutch with rs4 pressure plate and light weight flywheel but i gotta get the ***** to start pullin junk off.

Thumbs up

so appearently this topic has been beat to death on audizine.com. and JHMotorsports is on the verge of unveiling a 70-100 shot specifically built for the b6 s4, special direct injection system that fits where an intake manifold spacer would sit. with some other JHMotorsports parts they are runnign 12.41 at just over 117....sounds sick to me. can find plenty of info with a little research.

Thanks. After I buy parts it's just way to expensive to have a shop install them. I mean c'mon $1200 to put on a $40 timing belt!

Anyways that nitrous kit sounds very promising. If you're gonna go with anything I'd go for that. Are you planning on using this on the street? Also have you looked into water/methanol? It won't give you nearly the effect but might be more streetable.
