recently our headlights went out we replaced the ignition switch and the headlight switch... Light s came back on and was good... now again lights are out.. replaced ignition switch and replaced the plug this time.. still no headlights.. not sure what to replace now.. Is there are relay somewhere on the car that needs replaced.... also check the fuses none are blown... Any ideas????? car is an 99 A4

 

If you have HID headlights it could be the ballasts.. You should check for power at the headlights before throwing parts into it.. :/

 

Check headlight fuses. If they're good, it's possible that your headlight switch failed again - it's common. Look in the DIY section of this forum or search YouTube for info on fixing the switch rather than replacing it again (you'll have to remove the airbag so be forewarned if that makes you nervous).
