No headlights, no AC, no horn, no windshield wipers, no turn signal
when i went to the stealership i asked if they had a relay switch or whatever, and they said there was no such thing? only and x relay or some shiz..
but i just ended up getting the ignition switch and that was the solution

of course they told you that, because you asked for a relay switch [:-], you dont go and buy a load reduction relay, you have to buy any of this two:
Part numbers:
443 951 253J (BLACK MARKED "213"), is what was shipped with the car
Superceded by:
8D0 951 253 (GREY MARKED "370"), is the replacement part
So, this are RELAYS, not load reduction relays (wich is the relay function, not its name)

Check with Audi of America. See if you qualify for the ignition switch recall (JS campaign). Dealer will replace it for free. Dealerreplaced minelast month on a '97.
Sup everyone,
I'm new here and this happend to me yesterday. I have a 98 A4 Quattro, 5 speed, v6. Last night when I turn on my car, my headlights, AC, windshield wipers, turn signal, and horn doesnt work. The funny thing was that everything was working fine a few hours ago. Could it be the fuses? It strike me as odd that it could be the fuse because a lot of things are not working. I can't fathom the idea that all these fuses blew @ the same time. Has anyone experience this before? What could it be? Could it be the computer because I heard Audi has A LOT of electrical problems. Many thanks.
