do u have a cam to take pics? lemme see wut ur working with.

 

no digital cam sorry but I basically did the $80 intake mod (bought the two K&N filters) took off top to airbox put big filter in its place and put small filter down underneath near the right headlight on the other small tube feeding from airbox. APR 91 oct. chip (always put in 93 oct. fuel) and a 710N diverter valve, changed two of my vacuum lines one from DV and the other into the manifold (easiest ones). and that's all the mods i've done. Like I said the noise was there before the mods were done now its just a lot louder sounds like airflow, it goes on and off sporadically, but its mostly on when i'm idling. I think it might just be airflow going through the filter or something....??? actually I have no idea... I appreciate you effort to help a confused individual...

while I have your attention... where is the race valve located? also the air pump and the alternator? someone has mentioned to me that it might be one of the two but not sure...
