If you are going to blow your budget on an Audi and insurance and not have anything left over, then perhaps a used audi is not for you.

The car will likely need at least 1K for the things the previous owner didn't take care of, and you should keep 1K in the bank for repair and upkeep. While it is a great car, there is nothing worse than owning a great car that sits in your driveway because you can't afford to fix it. I wouldn't suggest a German car for the first car for a 16 year old.
