Default O2 Sensor

whats up. ok here my problem. my idel on my car acts alittle funny. When the car is stop at a light or traffic or any type of not moving action. my idel likes to jump up and down. Now some people say its my O2 sensor, and other say other stuff. So i was hoping that someone on here that might of had the same problems might have a clue. Also if it is the O2 sensor would it be the 1st one befor ethe cat or after the cat, and also where are they located at and what type of tools would i need to fix it, and anyone know a website that have a picture of where its located at.

Doesn't sound like 02 sensor.

Pull the codes.

Could be dirty throttle body. That is often the cause of idle speed falling at a stop light.

the autozones in my area don't let you just use them for free, you have to "put a deposit down" (which is the full price of the tool, 185 bucks), and they give you the deposit back when you bring it back....so you basically just buy it and return it. it could possibly be your O2 sensors, failing sensors can cause a lot of pretty strange problems...

mods- nothing my car is basic, it a 1.8t quattro thats it. nothing is done to it. i went to autozone, the computer came out as hose problem from the turbo or the throttle body. i mean i already got the O2 sensor for free didnt have to pay yhe 145 dollars for it haha. when its stop just seems like the car is revin by it self, it never goes pass 1 rpm.
