transverse you said 3500 to 4000 you change your oil. Do you use synthetic oil and change that often.
I ask this because I put A lot of miles on my car and that is why I started to use synthetic . I thought there was A
higher milage between oil changes.

 

I change mine every 300 miles. yes 300 not 3000. J/k i change every 3000 miles

 

Man I just spent $29 for 6 qts of mobil ! and I shoul still change every 3000

 

Do u have 1.8t or 2.8? My 1.8t only takes a lil over 4qt.

well I looked on ebay and I found a 5gall of royel purple syn for 90 somthing shipped.
That would last me for A long time.

 

yeah just go ahead and change the oil at 3000 to 5000 depending on the amount of cash avaliable. one thing i do is i have a funnel that has a wire screen and ill drain my oil like once a week and put it back in to it runs through that filter

 

My driving is mostly highway. 10K mi. in 7 months. The Mobil 1 0W-40 can handle temperatures over 400 degrees F. The highest I've seen the oil temp. is 225. During the first 50K Audi changed with mineral oil every 10K. I'm not telling those with Mods. to do the same.

 

I change mine every 4-5k miles. M1 oil with oem filters.
