Here you can take it for what its worth, my 2000 has one. Im sure yours does also. But if your that lazy or stupid to not check the oil until a light comes on, your shouldnt be driving the car.

 

wow, thank you for finally posting something valuable in my thread. i am fully aware of how and when to check my oil. i didn't take a jab at you because i wanted to disrespect you, i just felt that you were making stuff up to support your opinion. your response of "if the light comes on, it's too late"was wrong if you want to admit it or not. sorry if i sounded like an *** myslef while doing that, i didn't mean to start a pissing contest. but i've been around the block when it comes to knowing, building, and tuning a motor or two come on us turbo guys have to stick together, even though mine is a lowly toyota and the audi is just a DD

 

So what is your oil level at? Regular? high? Low? If the dipstick shows regular levels than I would think your fine. I really dont understand what your asking either. And everyone needs to put there egos off to the side and show some respect!
