Oil troubles?
Ok so here's the story about a week ago on my way home from work, a orange light came on with an oil can that said min
I checked the oil and it was very low and really black, so i took it in for an oil change this past saturday
Now today (thursday) another RED light came on that sayes oil pressure
Any idea what the problem could be? I don't know when the oil was last changed prior to this oil change because i just bought the car 3 months ago but Is it possible the pump is bad or could it just be since the oil change the sensors need reset or something
And yes i'm fully aware i need to take it to a shop to know for sure, just wondering if anyone out there would know enough to know what it could possibly be?

There are numerous things it could be, some of which you have already listed. Be careful driving with that light on as if indeed there is an issue of there being a lack of oil pressure, the engine could be severely damaged.
How many miles are on the car? I would suspect there to be a sludge issue blocking the oil pick up tube. Most likely there is sludge blocking the oil passage ways, restricting the flow of oil through the engine.
Whatever the case maybe, proceed with caution as you could end up totaling the engine by driving with this condition.
