Yes I have a mid muffler/resonator. I dont see why you would have to have one though, you could easily fit a pipe in its place.

ORIGINAL: ThePaintballGuy

I am looking at getting a custom exhaust. How much did that cost for everything including labor if you don't mind me asking.

Josh
the resonator and muffler cost $230 shipped (got it ordered from an autoparts store thats near me)... the setup itself was priced at $350, but the guy said if i paid cash, he'd only charge me $200... so my whole setup was $430 not too shabby

yeah I paid $800 but that was with 2 stainless magnaflow flexpipes, cats, resonator, muffler and all piping from flex pipes back.

yea, i kept the stock cat and downpipe

next thing on my list is a bigger turbo... dunno if i wanna just go ko4 or get a nice garrett... just depends on the money i have and how much power i want. i think if i go bt ill go with a "smaller" one if that makes sense. so much to do, so little time

oh yea, even though its in my sig, i still need to install my ss.. its too cold outside to be doing it without a garage haha

your sig LIES!!! I feel you on the cold weather though. I'm out working on my car every weekend, and my girlfriend gives me so much crap for being in the cold the whole time. A thin set of gloves with rubber ones on top works wonders.

hmmm after driving around all day, i like the bassiness but i think its way too loud (esp in cabin). its at its loudest from 2.2k-3.2k which is normal driving around town... i just dont wanna be That guy... ya know?

so i think ill go back there tomorrow and see if the guy can do anything about it

one idea i just had was to have the stock resonator reattached close to the cat (since thats restrictive anyways), then run the 2.5" pipe to the magnaflow resonator then to the muffler

you think that would work?
