painted my lowers, lots of pics
Hey flyinb5
I also am looking to paint my 98 silver a4, but have no clue what silver will match it, i think i have the aluminum silver metalic paint or somethin of audis. Will the same paint that you used by duplicolor work for mine. Also where can i find the color code on my car? I know what you mean with the messed up front lower, mine is the same way. I have nuespeed bilstein shocks on my car and now the car is low, and hits EVERYTHING. I think im gonna get a new lower for the front and then paint it.

so sweet and so clean with the lowers painted. i need to do that on my silver as well. but i suck at painting. itll come out looking ghetto lol
i have both the front and rear mudguards, if i were to paint my lowers, should i paint the mudguards as well? or leave it black? or take them off completely?

how many cans of promoter, clear coat and paint did you go through for the whole car?
i figured 3 cans of promoter, 3 cans of clear coat and 3 cans of paint to do mine...

whats the deal with painting them on the car.. maybe thats a stupid question... i havent gotten underneath and really looked at the lowers.. are they not easily removed??
i would think it would be easier to remove them.. then paint?? but everyone leaves them on the car to do so.. whats up??

I'm pretty sure I used 4 of the big cans of color, and not quite sure about the rest. I think I only used a couple cans of adhesion promoter.
