I got a 97 a4 2.8 ltr quattro....This is kidda a noob question but....I recently bought a one piece headlight set from ebay and was trying to install it today.....I was wondering if anybody else did installed one of these ebay black one piece headlights before.

1.I was able to put it on the head lights but the relays for the signal lights don't match the plug-in that's commin from the car.....
e.g.: The car's plug for the signal is (000) gots three holes, but the ones on the NEW head lights' singal plug gots two prongs (II)......
should I just splice it? Or is there something I can get from audi to make it work???

2. Also this came this plug-ins for the head beam, regular beam it plugs in fine, BUT there are also a set of 6 black and red wires one each head light, there instructions aren't that great all it says it to: to connect the black line to the negative electrode of the park/signal/side marker lamp WHERE CAN I FIND THESE???? what do I connect the red wires to???

i paid someone 70 bucks to put mine on, lol... sorry im no help, but when it comes to electronics and wires im just stupid. but the angel eyes looked sweeet, until my friend totalled my car... lol, but im definately putting the same headlights on my new a4 as well...good luck dude and at least i bumped your thread to the top.

 

...thanks for info.....gonna go to audi today and see if I can get some kind of relay...if they don't got one then I'll get it'll just bring it in a shop.....

 

fitted mine my self but all the connectors matched
but seeing as ur indicator is just 1 lamp

= 2 wires
how can u go wrong LOL
only three combinations to try till it lights up
