i think thats when they will want you to do the timing belt. thats spendy.

 

Just had mine done... it was about $250 at the dealer. I seriously question why it was that much. The timing happens later (I think around 80 or 90k).

 

1 million dollars, including the interior and exterior cleaning of course......

everytime i get a service done it's about 500 dollars

 

timing belt is scheduled for 75k and yes, one million is a conservative estimate...

 

Why does ravedave pay 250 and lauren 500?

 

i dunno, usually i pay around 500 for all the major services, for those partial ones, i pay like 250 about.....

i had 80K done a little while back it was 453 , i just looked up my reciept for 60k service and it looks like it was 399.... sorry, i guess i over-estimated a bit (<------- something you'll never hear the dealership say by the way)

A 60K consists of nothing more than a fancy oil change and perhaps air filter and spart plugs, The rest is "looking at the car" so they can justify 500 dollars. You can do it all yourself, check the manual for your car for the recommended things to do and save your self 450 dollars.
