Problems With The Reliable Old A4 :P
Well I bought my A4 about 4 months ago, it's a 98' 2.8 with 130k on it (now, it had 122 when I bought it).
Just recently it started to feel a little slower, and every once in a while at red lights I'll get a pretty good kick (it feels like someone rear-ended me) from the back. And this week I'm hearing a creaking noise from the rear-passenger tirewell (in that area).
I am saving to have it fixed (I'm saving a grand, which I'll have on Friday before I even take it in) but I need it for work for now. Other than being a tad bit slower, it doesn't feel broken or malfunctional at all, it still rides like a dream.
Any suggestions, other than to take it to a dealer, which I'm doing soon anyways?
Thanks!
