Default QUESTION!!

I just wanted to know if anyone knew if it was possible to patch up a hole in the transfer casing??? I am still working with the dealership on how much its going to coast to get my transfer case repaired or replaced and that was apparently one option they were thinking of. but i just wanted to know if that was safe? thanks for the help

depends how the hole go there.. and where it is.. you could probably weld it up

If the hole is just on the center diff housing, just replace that rear part of the housing.

the only reason i dont want to purchase the transfer case is because its very expensive and i plan on getting a new one soon but i need a more temp. solution until then. i am a 20 year old college student. money is expensive....
