Default question about a 2001 a4

I am looking to get a 2001 a4. Does anyone have anything against the 2001 opposed to earlier models and if not what things should watch for, either good or bad. Thanks.

what model? 2.8 or 1.8?

2001 is the newest of the b5's, so you will have dominance over all b5's, lol... well not dominance, but it will be newer, and have a better re-sale value

How did you get it replaced under warranty? Is it a 100k extended?

if your looking at hard cored mods down the road the newer ones arent as good as say a 99.5 the difference is the drive by wire systems on the newer motors is way harder to tune with

Yea, if you have the Audi Assured to 100k they'll do it.

it is when the "updated" the look of the B5's.. all basically the same but a few cosmetic things.. sidemarkers, head and tail lights, dash, center consol, etc. all for the better..

99.5 is the best year IMO due to it has the newer B5 look. with an AEB motor(strongest with big ports) and drive by cable(dbc or ndbw) for easier tuning like someone else said.
