question about the KO4 AGAIN

ok ive been seeing alot of questions about our friend the "check engine light"....so my quesiton is after putting the AWE KO4 kit in with the software it comes with and FPR, will i get a check engine light often or does the software help with the problems?

Nah, people have had k04's on for 20k miles and still no problems. By putting that turbo kit on it will not give you a CEL, unless something triggers it. You can always get a CEL, it may not be from the turbo kit but you dunno untill you VAG it. Some people dont even run software but its reccomended.

i think i left a little out of the question...bsides the vacuum lines and stuff acting up...but other then that are alot of the problems elimintated or do they stay the same...I NEED FEEDBACK!!!sry for the caps i just really need to know

really the only way ur gonna throw a code is probally how u have ur blow off set up....like if its just venting to atmosphere its gonna set one or if u have a leak from instal. this kit is is pretty much like a stock upgrade from a factory so to speak. its all factory parts. nothing special.

alrite thats for the imput...i was looking at the turbo XS bov or the greddy bov...another thing ppl always talk about there vacuum lines dry-rotting and stuff, wouldn't it just b smart to go out and buy all brand new vacuum lines then u wouldn't have to worry about them?
