Question of Oil change 99 A4 2.8 new to here
I am a newer to here, and have 99 audi A4 2.8 my second car.
I never change the oil before, I always ask the dealer to change it and it costs over 100. I am thinking to do it myself to avoid to pay so much on regular maintence.
I have seached the similar posts in this forum, and now I know I need to change filter and oil same time. And some one say I can change the air filter (both for A/C and engine).But I have not found the steps of oil changing.
Any one can tell me the steps of oil changing?

get drain pan... put it under the drain plug.. remove drain plug, let oil drain out, put plug back in, move pan to where oil filter is.. unscrew oil filter,
turn filter upside down in pan to let drain.. take some new oil on your finger and lubricate rubber gasket on new filter, screw on new filter, fill enigine with new oil to facotry specified amount
(in lamens terms as much as i can)
