Rear Fog Bulbs
Having two rear fogs defeats the purpose of having a rear fog light. People will be confused and think you are breaking all the time. I would rather somebody think my tail light is too bright rather than them thinkI am breaking....... There is no point whatsoever adding another bulb on the right side. Also the rear fog is only to be use in extreme conditions.
Yup - I have seen the same feature on SAABs too.
I understand the logic - but honestly, it REALLY lookslike a blown taillight - and I wish there was a better solution than looking like I ambraking all the time. That would be confusing ... for the rear driver though, not me! [8D]
But still- how can you get pulled over for that?!! Where on earth do you guys live? I drove around 3 months with one whole tail+brake light blown ... and never got pulled. But hey, this is Red Sox country ... so freedom and liberty are valuedmore thanroad rules here!

If you've ever driven in really foggy conditions, you'll understand why the light is there only on one side. If you think about it this way, the slower car is going to be driving in the right-hand lane. A faster car coming up on the slower car will most likely be traveling in the left lane. So, it makes sense to have the brighter light closer to the faster car. I have driven up on slower cars in the fog before, and I really wish every car (American & Japanese included) had this feature, so I can see the car in front of me from further away.
