Default rear sway bar question

I'm going to get the rear sway bar from ecs soon but i have a question about the install. I got under and looked at it and it looks like a pretty simple job, but I saw two things that could be hard. My first question is does anything have to be removed to get the sway bar out? It looks like the passenger side would come out first and then the drivers side would come out. The two brackets that hold it on look like there is a bolt on the top that could be hard to get to, can this be reached with just an open end wrench? Last question, is the sway bar under pressure or tension? If so is there any trick or tools needed to relieve the stress?
