Default Remote problems

Ok heres the deal. I am trying my remote out and it isnt working. I've had it for about 6 months now and no problems until like 2 days ago. I had to reprogram it and it worked. Now i cant even reprogram it. I try the same thing in the directions but i cant get a respinse from the remote....i have new batteries in it.

When it comes to the point in the directions to press the unlock button while it is in the door it doesnt beep.

If anyone could help that would be great. I did a search but I am still unsure exactly what i need to do.

Thanks

Default RE: Remote problems

Ok I'm sorry I was a little tired last night. Lets see if I can explain this a little better today.

My remote for my car alarm will not work anymore. I purchased a three button remote off of ebay about 6 months ago. It worked perfect until like three days ago. I tried to reprogram the remote but it wont reprogram anymore. Could it be the transmitter?....Is there something wrong with the alarm?...the alarm still engages when i use the key.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

More than likely, the replacement battery was bad. Often with the small, coin-shaped batteries like the CR-2032 you will buy "new" batteries that are nearly drained from sitting for too long after they were manufactured. Even if the "expiration date" indicates otherwise! I had to buy a second set of replacement batteries the last time I changed out my fob because I had this problem with the first set. Good luck
