I love the things.

I have never left my cars in gear. Except my old prelude, cause the ebrake didn't work on it (memories or the POS).

If I was goign to bring it somewhere it was probably going to be best buy, cause i was pretty sure they would do it and they have insurance.

BEST BUY wont do put a remote start on a manual. i tried.. but since i wanted it i gave the guy who was installing it like $50 and he just did it on the low low.

EVERYONE is sayin that you can endanger people! thats BS. ive had mines for about a 4 months and obviously if your CAR is in gear your not gonna remote start it.. only idiots injure people with their remote starters.. so if anyone out there is an idiot dont install one...

You could easily start your car with your keys in your pocket by accidently laying on them or something. Not to mention if someone else was messing around with your keys for whatever reason. Also consider that if you wreck your car from the remote starter, your insurance won't pay out a dime.

again only idiots can injure people.. because most remote starters you need to hit a combination of 2 or more buttons to actually start your car. if your car is not in gear all the car does is turn on and thats it. most new remote starters also have a timer so if you dont put the key in the ignition after a certain period of time it shuts the car off.

I wanna know what most of you consider "injuring people"...

I think they mean, if you left it in gear, attempted to start, and someone was putting stuff in their trunk or something....oops. Or you can hurt property, a tree maybe or something else.

I think 90% of the kits you have to press at least 2 buttons as well.
