If the gauge is erratic or takes ridiculously long to warm up then change it. I wouldn't worry if it takes 5-10 minutes to warm up. Mine doesn't move stays cold at idle, it doesn't move till I start driving.

I did replace it, so that why im so confused right now. there is now way it should take 10 min for it to barley start moving...something else might be wrong>>

If your having this much problem with it then find someone with a pressure tester and see if the system is holding pressure.
