Default Replacement Battery

I went to PepBoys and picked up a Bosch 48-700 and went to install it, but it is substantially smaller than the OEM. It just doesn't seem right. Has anyone replaced their battery with one of these?

Per the spec sheet it is the replacement but it is a good 2" shorter. It is the same height and depth. Just want to know if anyone else had the same experience and if everything was OK.
