I had a flat and went to firestone to get it fixed. The guy kept telling me that I needed to replace the other 3 but this seemed ridiculous since others are in great shape and I only need the 1. He said replacing just the 1 could destroy the trans and potentially cost 1500-3000. I've never heard anything about this. Do y'all know about if this is accurate?

 

Some truth to what they said, but not much. With AWD the tires need to be the same size to prevent the AWD from thinking a tire is always slipping. Can't remember the ratio. I do remember that one tire had to be almost bald and the others brand new before it would be an issue. I usually swap out two at a time and have had no issues.
