Default Ross Tech Question

I was wondering if you buy the Ross tech cable or w/e from AWE which is about 200 or so dollars. It allows me to use the vag system, but is the software switch download from GIAC free?? Or do i only have to buy there 150 dollar switching remote ?

What are you talking about exactly, the download from Ross tech is free as far as i know, you just have to download the right software for what cable you have, USB, Serial port, and what diagnostic ability you have, HEX+CAN, ect.
