I need help figuring out where to route the power wires and other wires for stereo install. I need to run back to the trunk.

If anybody knows an easy way to do this please post. I don't really know what pieces come off the best

If you're not already comfortable figuring out how to run cables on your own, then I would highly recommend leaving the installation to trained professionals.

 

power wire will run down the passenger side of the car, you RCA wire will run on the drivers side of the car.

 

just follow the wire already in the car, there should be room

 

Also those 2 rubber gromets by the battery are they to be cut out or do they twist out or what?? Do I need to take the back seat out to get it through to the trunk?

 

Take it out and see, im guessing yes.

 

Alright...da way I did it was running from da battery through the grommet behind da ecu and down da drivers side

heres a PICTURE of da grommet (in da engine bay) behind da ecu
And here's a PICTURE of the backside of da grommet (under da dash)

the way I got my power wire through the grommet was by first, starting under da dash and slicing a hole in it wth my leatheman (any knife that you have a good handle on)...then I straightened out a wire coat hanger and duct taped it to da wire (spiral taping so dat it's tapered at the end thats penetrating the grommet)...now pull on the coat hanger and pull the wire through and run it to da trunk....

this will be way easier if you remove the ECU box...though I did not
