Default Satelite Radio

Hello I need some help with my Audi A4 I just bought satelite radio for my Ford Expedition from Sirius and i had to give and SID # for it where can i find the SID number for my Sat radio in my Audi i have the option for it

my audi is Audi A4 1.8T Cabrio 2005

Look in the trunk near the spare tire well.

which one because there is 2 on the hatch that you open up the spare tire which says Audi a4 Cabrio B6 and the other one next to the tools say car recongition # or something like that where would it be exactly located and what would it be named?

The number is on the unit, its mounted on the driver's side in the trunk. You may have to take off a few trim pieces in the trunk on a cabrio to get to the module. You'll see sirius on the top of the module with the number.

yea i know what your talking about i dont have the unit cd changer in the trunk if ur talking about that everything i got it is inside last time i had my audi it was a 00 A6 which had that

No im saying if the factory installed satellite radio is installed, thats where the wiring and module is mounted for sirius or XM.
Even if your car has the option for satellite radio you have to still buy the module from the dealer, so if it wasn't installed from thefactory you need to spend about $500 to buy the module.
Once the module and wiring is hooked up in the trunk, you need to pull the lower a pillar on the passenger's side and swap the pink connector over one slot then it will activate it in the dash. Then you call XM or Sirius and give them the number on top of the control unit to activate all the stations.
