current coding in controller module 17 (Instruments) was 02244. Changed that to 00244.

I just removed the seatbelt chime from my friend's B6 A4: Second digit from right of the instrument cluster code; the default should be 3 which is for USA. 1 should be EURO-NCAP and 0 for no warning. O and 1 both seem to work fine.
Notice: You won't get rid of the initial 6x chime but it won't keep repeating that in 25 second periods nor will it start chiming once you unfasten your seatbelt when the ignition is ON.

hey i use that annoying buzz as my turbo timer haha wait till it shuts off then i turn my car off it is on for about a minute
