Well, it doesnt cost me anything to take it to the shop, i work there, and can scan and do it all there. Im really thinking plugs, because its missing bad, and it all makes sense. I just didnt think i would foul these that quick. The brk7es are fouling like crazy.

Remove the plugs and read them (color).

How suddenly did it happen? I guess if the shop is free, why not... but yeah, I definately wouldn't get all worried when you haven't even vag'ed it

i was going through plugs everytime i cold started the car. If i wanted to drive it in the morning i had to change the plugs. the plugs can be fouled very quickly, prolly about 10seconds in my case. If the shops free then go for it! if u scan it u will even know which plugs are bad

Yeah, I guess what I meant when I asked how suddenly, was sort of only part of a bigger question... Clearly plugs can foul very, very quickly... but, if he's made no changes to the car in 15K miles, and this happened all of a sudden, the plugs wouldn't be the issue... even if they were fouled, something else must have caused it.

Know what I mean? My old POS talon's plugs and wires fouled... but it happened somewhat gradually, over the course of a week or so. I guess once one plug is bad, that is a big deal, especially on a 4 cyl.
