Aw well shoot you should have said you had turbos I could have said turbo seals in my first post. (I think of my 2.8 before i think of other types)
I just came back because I realized when talking to my girlfriend and trying to explain what a PCV valve is, that it is a smog device that could maybe be considered a smog decreasor thing. So maybe his mechanic didn't lie to APG, he just need to be a little more clear.

 

With a bit of luck it may just be a turbo seal. Fingers Crossed

 

I doubt its a seal, the smoke would be minimal then.

 

But if it was the turbo it would be a continous thing, I would always blow smoke if the it was dying not just at the start. If it's a seal, that sort of sealing but not properly, then I will be really happy. :-). Of comes the turbo.
