its not that hard at all....just take your time so it looks good. I don't remember how many coats of clear I did... ALOT... maybe like 5 coats or something? enough where I thought thats as good as its going to get

i used gloss black spray paint, 3 light coats of gloss black, and 10 coats of UV resistant clear coat.. cost bout 7 bucks.. came out great.
