A good set of snow tires goes a long way to help the Quattro out. I'm sure you didn't have snow tires on your ride!

tires are the most important thing for the quattro..
i had some **** tires on and we got like 3 inches here and i was locking up and sliding everywhere, i put on some wintersport m3's and wow i never slide at all and have perfect pinpoint braking.
that is crazy to hear, i was in SF a couple months ago and weather was nice. i bought my a4 in mid december hoping to have a nice handling car for the snow we usually get in ohio. never got anything i could test in this winter, and today it was over 60 degrees and supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow
.. supposedly mid week we will drop back to cold with possible snow. i just want to drive my quattro in snow!!!!!!!!

Is there an echo in here? LOL.
Snow in San Fran... That's crazy. I went up there with a couple of friends about 4 months ago and loved it. The weather was perfect. Pretty damn fun town to party in. A friend of mine is absolutely loaded and he got us in VIP to a place called the Redwood Room. It was an awesome spot. Never been anywhere like it.

Anyway, the weekend I leave SF it has to snow, and I've been wanting to drive my A4 in the snow too. I feel bad that I missed it.
