so some ppl get lucky by not getting any vibrations and some do? well if it needs shaving, what is the proper way of doing it and how much should be taken off?

the proper way to shave it is whatever the easiest way is. i say a belt sander or disc sander, but dremel will work, or razorblade or plain ol sandpaper. and you want about 5-10mm above and below

People keep asking about install times and getting confused about the differing answers because the installation is much easier on b6 a4's(2002-2005.5) than it is on the b5's(older) Look at the directions on goapr.com... on b6 a4s the installation is a breeze
