B6/B7 takes half hour labor + snub mount.

I installed APR snub and I LOVE IT! Not only it removes the jerks, it also reduces vibrations. Absolutely a must I think, makes ride so much better.

 

Yep it made a ton of difference when I changed mine on my B5 auto.

 

both the cheapest and most effective upgrade. puts the power to the ground the way it was meant to be. search for "snub mount". there's a ton.

 

are all snub mounts the same or are there some made just for audi?

 

They are all made for the specific audi. They are not all the same. Every manufacture choses a different hardness.

 

What one should I get for a b6 A4 Tip.
Also am I looking at the right ting,they called it a torque damper in that link?

 

No one can really tell you which one is the best. Just search audiworld for reviews. Everyone has their favorite.

 

I would try the purem rather than the APR.

I insalled the APR and the car vibrated so badly it felt like there was a hornet's nest under the gas pedal. It seems way too stiff for the tiptronic transmission and my tuner, to whom I took it to after I had it installed, said he doesn't recomment the APR mount for the tiptronic for the reason.

After much fiddling we got it so that the vibration is not annoying,.
