so i just drove through
I would think that as long as your motor doesn't have any leaks and you at least kept your foot on the gas (not to let water in the exhaust) that you should be ok, since the air intake is right under the hood. More than likely you should be alright.
p.s. why exactly did you drive through a lake with an audi?? Its awd, but that doesn't mean take it muddin

Dont know if this helps any but i guess your better off than me. I just got my car back from the dealer last week because everytime i drove through water, wether it be alot or even a puddle my check engine light, and traction light would come on. When that happened the car had absolutely no power. It was really slugish. I took it to the dealer to find out that it was a gas pedal sensor that was getting water and screwing things up.
Doesnt sound like you have this problem but maybe its to some help
Dennis..

lol that sucks. i was taking kiefer home because a detour from where i was would take another 30 minutes and i had to pee like a race horse. its a narrow 2 lane road with speed bumps every 50 yards or so becuase the farmers are gay. also called the dump road. i also take it because comming home i can hit barely 120 ish if i do everything perfect. going away, easily over 120 becuase ill do a lot of down hill
haha, i do have the box mod. i should probly tear it open and check it out. but im too lazy and it seamed fine. any water damage from that would have happend right away. and i didnt get in the boost. (low speed 1st gear) so it couldnt have had the suction to suck up water. you would have to basically dunk ur car in water to do that.
