The TT forum seems a little dead right now, so I'll post this here since it does have a little to do with the A4 as well. I would like to know what the factory PSI is on a 1.8T with the K03 and a 180HP Audi TT. Also, which turbo is in the 180HP TT? Does adding the Revo ECU Flash increase boost to get the performance? If not, can you buy a boost controller for a TT or an A4 to increase the boost level and would that void a warranty? Sorry for all the questions, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to find some of this information outside of the community!

 

Not too sure about the tt. You should be able to find information on which turbo is in the tt in the archives of the tt forum. I believe it is a Ko3\\03.

Yes the ECU flash increase boost, but also remaps fuel and timing.

A chip flash would void the warranty under two conditions.

1. The dealer finds out about the new program

2. the program is directly related to the failure. Obviously the dealer couldn't claim that the chip was responsible for the sunroof breaking, etc.

 

I believe stock boost to peak around 12 psi. Yes chips increase the boost level to create more hp. I would stay away from boost controllers and go with a chip that is designed for your engine.

 

thanks guys, very helpful info. I'm just trying to do some comparisons on different car performance in this pricerange.... I like the functionality of the A4, but I'm a speed freak so I want to start off with some good juice that I can modify :-D
