Sound system
I have a 2000 with the symphony system. It has 4 speakers up front ( including tweeters) and two on the back deck. From what I read, there is a Bose system with amps on each speaker, and also has speakers in the back doors. I also understand that there is a version of the Symphony radio with speakers in the back doors also. My rear deck speackers look like they have a small amp on the bottom of the speaker in the trunk. Im trying to figure out what size my front speakers are, and if they have amps on them. I have read 4 inches, and then 5.25 inches. Does anyone know, for my setup, what size the front speakers are? Jst trying to get an answer before I go taking the door panels off. Also, I believe the front door speakers are component woofers, because of the tweeters on top. If I put in a speaker which has a tweeter on it already, will it sound crappy? THANKS.
On cartoys.com if you put your car make/model/year etc it will tell you the speaker sizes as well as deck sizes. Tells you if its direct fit, if it works with a fit kit, or needs custom install. Hope that helps.
