Spark Plug Gap with SpeedTuning Chip
Just put new plugs in a week ago, BKR6Es gapped to .032". After that I realized the 23rd was coming, so I sent out my ECU to SpeedTuning. Just got it installed last night (got a bit of other work done as well: airbox, k&n, forge 007, boost gauge, rear fog light mod, diy short shifter), and it's pulling pretty good, as long as I'm not going over 5500 RPMs.
I've read 293709715409 times to narrow the plug gap on a chipped car, but I was curious if that was my 5500 RPM issue?

All 1.8ts should run the same gaps.
Spark Plugs
OE Plugs: NGK PFR6Q - .032" gap
For Stock Cars - .032" gap:
[ul][*]NGK BKR6E[*]Autolite 3923[*]Denso Iridium IK20[/ul]
For Chiped Cars - .028" gap:
[ul][*]NGK BKR7E[*]Autolite 3922[*]Denso Iridium IK22[*][/ul]
I prefer the ngk bkr6's and have used the autolites also, work fine aswell. Just get copper plugs and change them every 15-20k miles.
