i have this guy sellin his sport suspension set wit springs and shocks for 70$ his car is a 99 1.8t quattro i was wondering if they fit to my 97 1.8 quattro. and wut should i look for in the springs to tell that they're not damaged or im gettin ripped off

yes it will fit look for cracks
you must be dying to lower your car I remember your post about putting lowering springs on you stock shocks its winter man wait till spring save your money and get it done right also if you are dying go onto www.audiworld.com there are some coilovers going really cheap over there

Hard to beat for $70, how many miles are on them? They should be in decent shape for being 7 years old.. Id guess they would have a couple more years life left in them, depending on mileage..

do a search......there is almos to point to getting the sport suspension...unless you drive like a girl. There is almost no gain in handling from them. You should, if you can, just save up and get a used set like on audiworld right now for like 400. You will notice a huge difference with those.
