Default Sport Suspension plus......

Don't flame.

I searched and didn't find legitimate answers to my (specific) questions so now I turn to you guys.

Don't flame.

I don't have the S-Line, but I do have the sport suspension.
Could someone please explain if I keep the shocks as they are and add coilovers?
Do the coilovers REPLACE the shocks on the sport suspension?
If not, do I need to replace the shocks if I get coilovers or is it optional based on other factors?

Remember Tom Cruise from Days of Thunder when he said, "I don't know how they run, I just run 'em....."
I'm kinda' like that. Don't **** in my cheerios because I'm mentally coilover challenged.

Thanks. (Unless you flame me)
.
.
p.s. Annnnd it's a lease. Coilovers a bad idea altogether? I'm 6 weeks into a 3yr lease.....

Coilovers replace the shock, springs, and some hardware.

Coilovers replace the shock, springs, and some hardware.
Excellent. That's good info to know.
What's a better route to go:

1. Get the coilovers, keep the stock equipment until the lease is over, and then put it back on when I turn it in.

2. Get the coilovers, toss the stock equipment, and turn the car in with the coilovers still on.

How long is your lease?

keep the stock suspension and swap it off when you turn it in.

Definitely swap the OEM back in. Used coilovers are usually a hot commodity in the classifieds.

I simply want the car a little lower to close the wheel gap, and if it provides a handling a bit better, then that is welcome as well.
And I'm trying to do the cheapest, most non-invasive thing that I can get away with because of the lease.

Can I get away with just doing this:

TEIN LINK - CLICK ME

If I click on THIS LINK, it tells me that the car will look like this:

Look-up H&R sport Race springs they work well with the Sport shocks and will lower the car to give a nice stance here’s my B5 on Sport shocks and H&R Springs and only 1 week in, they have settled down nicely now.

Car on the left is mine.
