Sport suspension questions
Alright, so i'd really like to switch from the regular suspension on my b5 to the sport just to lose a little bit of wheel gap. But my question is will the shocks/springs from a b5 with sport suspension bolt up to my nonsport b5? Is anything else needed? I wouldn't think there'd be a difference between any b5 1.8tq, but I noticed on ecstuning they list different shocks for 7/2000 and later b5s.

I just wanted to find out if I would run into any problems putting sport shocks/springs from say a 00-01 on my 99.5???? Thanks!

they should be the same, after all the factory just bots that sport stuff right on
but why waste money getting stock sport suspension.. just go with a nice spring and shock combo, or if you got the bills, coilovers

Ijustwantto keep theride about the same and not have toworry about scrapingon speed bumps and stuff. Maybeget some 17" s4 wheels too, but I think it would just look funny with the stock suspension.

Anyone know for sure if theresa difference in the shocks, or should I just go withmild lowering springsand Bilstein or Konis?

Sport shocks are red but you could uprate the shocks to Bisstein's and drop in some H&R sport springs this will lower the car about almost the same as a Sport setup but a little lower but not has much as H&R Race springs.
