Default Starting issue

Every morning (cold start) when i start my car up, it never starts the first time. But always the second. It used to be every once and a while, but now it's every morning. It starts up first try for the rest of the day though. It's just that initial morning startup. It turns and then just as the starter stops and the engine takes over it just sputters out. Try it again and it starts up like champ. I have a new starter in there so I know it's not the starter. So I need some help on what this could be.

I had a similar problem on an Oldsmobile Aurora. It was a fuel pressure leak. No fuel was leaking...just the pressure would bleed off over night.

Sometimes the fuel pump check valve can cause these issues. The system loses pressure over time when the valve doesn't work.

Hmm, ok. In terms of repair is this a minor fix or a major fix?
