Default Sticky First Gear

I have an '06 a4 2.0TSFI manual, and lately ive been noticing my first is sticky -- meaning at a complete stop, it wont go in as smooth, and when im rolling, i have to add a little more pressure. now i know it's going to prevent me from dropping it into first if im rolling too fast as a motor protection measurement, but ive been driving other manual cars and have never had this problem. Is this specific to hydraulic clutch cars? It seems this is more severe when the weather gets a little chillier.

sorry for the nooobie question, but some insight on this w ould help alot! [X(]

Mine does the same, along with second gear. It is almost impossible to shift to second when cold, however, once it warms up it gradually gets easier.
