U might be able to pull the valve cover and index the cams from the tdc mark on the back of each cam, otherwise cant u line up the tdc marks on both cam gears, and the crank pulley to there propper tdc, then find in the bently the amt of teeth b/w the cam gears and continue from there? I dont really see the issue and I'm assuming its a 2.8 which I really have no experience with

Shouldnt the car start even if the timing is off?
My friend is telling me it should... another is saying if I **** with valves & reset timing myself and If I am off I can **** engine. which i dont want to do.
I'm just like how can car not start some of my friends are saying electrical problem.. I doubt it.
ideas?
