Hey welcome to the Audi forum
First i would recomend getting a APR or GIAC ecu chip. this will raise your boost and there for give you more hp. if you do that you probably would want to get an intake and new exhaust to get the air flowing better.

go to the websites and look.

http://www.giacusa.com
http://www.goapr.com

You have to find a dealer, as those websites don't sell the chips directly. The websites clearly state which chip is applicable to your engine.

I don't personally own either chip, I have a TAP chip. My experience has been that the gas mileage is not really effected under normal conditions. If you drive the car hard, you will see a drop in gas mileage as part of the chips function is to remap the fuel delivery. My mileage stayed about the same until I did the turbo upgrade.

I have the APR chip and drive 150 miles per day. Mileage dropped perhaps 0.3 mpg, as I drive more agressively.

Install is free with chip purchase. You may have to pay shipping for your ECU if you don't have a shop close to you. They can reflash your chip with future upgrades so once again you might have to pay for shipping if you don't have a shop close. Note that APR chips are non-transferable..meaning that if you don't want the chip anymore for some reason, you cannot sell it unless you sell your ECU with it. APR will not mount one of their chips if not purchased new from them. GIAC chips on the otherhand are transferable.
