You'll most probably have to send it in to AWE, which will take about 3 days. The 2000s and up are flashable and apparently some 99.5s are too, but most likely you'll have to send it in.

i wonder what they do when they put the chip in. i am in the navy as an electronics techinician and we have a mulit million dollar 2m lab that we can micro and mini solder. i wonder if i could open it up and do it myself. we have fixed an ecu off of an eclipse gsx before.
ic chips arent hard either.
