dude if you FU<K up, make sure you have a video camera, that **** would be sooo funny to watch on youtube.
haha you should be able to do it in a day no prob, just be carefull and use common sense, i'd rather replace the tming belt than have it pop on your long drive, then your did wil sh*t more than a brick
Ok, so i went through the diy thing you guys gave me a link for. Everything seems very simple just lots of bolts and crap. Its vital that i dont move anything out of turn, are all the sprocketed pulleys that are run by the timing belt the only ones i have to worry about turning out of sequence??
yeah, thats all you need to worry about, the other ones just run alternator a/c and stuff like that, jus tmake sure to rotate it to TDC before you pull the belt off, and then before youi put the new one on double check that all the notches on the pulleys line up with the tdc notches on the block, (the one for the crank is actually on the plastic cover thing)
